Mahatma Gandhi Speech Contest

The Gandhi Development Trust is a non – profit organisation based on the principles of non-violence, respect, harmony and Ubuntu. The organisation hope to inspire in the youth the values and principles espoused by Mahatma Gandhi and other outstanding leaders.
Whetstone Primary School have proven in the past few years that their participants do excel in this competition held especially for grade 7 learners.

This competition was held on 24 July at Mahatma Gandhi Settlement at 9:30 am. Elijah Bastien Sampson was placed second at the ward level. He received a certificate from the organisation and a trophy from the school. Co- ordinated by Mr K. Perumal.
